Thoughts on the symbol of intelligence

Has Sir Albert Einstein become the most overrated intellectual?

At 11 years old, I discovered my elder siblings' textbooks in the fields of physics, chemistry, and biology. Going through these books filled me with sublime ecstasy that gave wings to my pure soul. There was a particular chemistry book i loved the most, mostly because it has some history about scientists like John Dalton, J.J. Thomson, etc.

I made my friends call me Dalton and would carry out simple experiments just to look cool. I somehow found out (not in any of these books, btw) that Albert Einstein contributed to the first atomic bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima. Oh!, ignorant me. The word 'Atomic Bomb' sounded incredibly awesome, but it didn't move me at first. Looking at the periodic table of elements, I saw an element, 'Einsteinium', which was definitely discovered by Albert Einstein, right? Right? Then I switched from Dalton to Einstein.

This isn't me pointing out my ignorance or curiosity at that time, but just to show how much I was ardent, amazed and looked up to great scientists, especially Einstein. Doing these small experiments and seeing them actually work? understanding why thinks work the way they do? these were even more of an excitement to me.

Einstein has massively contributed to the theory of relativity and physics as a whole. No doubt he was highly cognitive and has greatly inspired so many great minds. Telling a person, "Bro, you are Einstein," means only one thing, and it's a compliment: "Bro, you are a genius."

My worry comes from the fact that Einstein is a physicist, not a mathematician. Most people fail to see the difference, but these are almost completely different worlds. If he is the symbol of intelligence, then what does that make the other great mathematicians, the likes of Gauss, Turing, Gödel, and all the others who even built theories from the scratch? Most of them are even forgotten today, unless you are someone in the field of mathematics.

Figures like Euler, Maxwell, and Bernoulli were all devout Christians. This is hardly the case with so many physics geniuses today; they do not believe that a sentient being exists: GOD.

Most of the 'elite physicists' today, who aren't even that smart and profit from engineering progress like Neil deGrasse Tyson, spread political propaganda, and the most infuriating thing they do is pushing to make theoretical physics a religion.

On that note, I don't think someone who is highly cognitive ("High IQ") is in any way more important than an average or even less than average cognitive person that contributes to the community a person who gives all they've got in the form of hard work, to achieve their goals. In fact, I think the latter is more important to the society, as they appear to be more ensouled and alive to me than a soulless academic retards who use academic achievements as some form of high status (IDGAF about your degree btw).

Even better, if you are highly cognitive and also have a pure soul (RIP Nikola Tesla).

If you think someone is better or more important than you are because you consider them more intelligent (which is hardly the case), WAKE UP.
